Famous Painting Reproductions

Hand-painted reproduction of classic artwork. Not an original antique. Leonardo da Vinci died in 1519 — the works reproduced here are in the public domain.

Renaissance
Leonardo da Vinci was the defining figure of the High Renaissance — painter, anatomist, engineer. Only a handful of finished paintings survive, yet the Mona Lisa and The Last Supper are the most famous images ever made. His soft sfumato shading takes real painters years to learn, which is why a hand-painted copy reads so differently from any print.

Questions
Yes, as long as it is in the public domain. Leonardo da Vinci died in 1519, so the works are out of copyright — send a photograph or a link and we will quote the same published price ladder with the same certificate. We do not copy the work of any artist whose copyright is still in force.
Any proportional size from 8 × 10 in upward. Because a reproduction should keep the proportions of the original, we recommend the sizes that match the source canvas — the ladder on each painting page shows the standard options, and a non-standard size costs the same as the nearest step.
Three to five weeks of painting, then three to five business days in transit, tracked and insured. Rush delivery (three weeks, painting included) is available for $90. You receive progress photographs while it is being painted.
Every reproduction ships with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity stating the original artist, the original work and that this is a modern hand-painted reproduction on canvas. It is not an antique, it is not sold as an original, and it will not be mistaken for one — the certificate is what allows you to insure and resell it honestly.
