Questions
Questions buyers ask about this piece
Yes. The sizes on this page are the standard ladder, but any proportional size can be made — send the wall dimensions and we will confirm the exact canvas and price the same day. There is no surcharge for a non-standard size, only the normal price step.
A print reproduces the image; it cannot reproduce the surface. Brush ridges, the slight variation of each stroke and the way oil catches raking light are what make a painting read as a painting across a room — and they are exactly what a flat print loses. Every piece here is painted by hand on canvas, signed, varnished, and shipped with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
Yes — that is the point of commissioning rather than ordering stock. You receive two progress photographs while it is being painted, then a photograph of the finished canvas with one free round of adjustments. Nothing is dispatched until you are happy with what you have seen.
Painting takes three to five weeks, then three to five business days in transit, tracked and insured. Rush delivery (three weeks, painting included) is available for $90. The price on this page is $868 for the smallest size — larger sizes and extra subjects step up on the published ladder, so there is no quote to wait for.
